Reasonable Italian
Oh my God – I am sure it’s expensive.’ That was the thought until I went for dinner one evening and proved myself wrong. Striking a balance between your wallet and the taste buds, if you want to have different types of food keeping in mind your budget, this is the place to consider. Casa Picola is undoubtedly the favorite amongst youngsters (especially the college crowd) for its Italian cuisine. The service is fast and really good. Lunch for two people would come to about Rs. 350. Value for money with good food is guaranteed... I suggest you try the different varieties of soups along with Garlic Bread, Starters, Pasta Bolognese and Macaroni Salad. From the dessert menu, the black forest crepe is yummy.
Ambience is not all that great but it still looks different. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. It's like any other restaurant in the afternoon – especially the European kind. But, its charm really comes through in the evening, when lamps are lit on every table. But sometimes you don’t know what you are having – all the more classier! One thing I really dig is they serve sizable portions at a reasonable price. Though not authentic Italian, it is certainly a good bet. It is different from the usual restaurants in Bangalore. The range of delicacies you get is amazing. Casa has always been an excellent, and a very local place to hang out. So whether you are in Residency Road, Cunningham Road, Indiranagar or Koramangala, there is sure to be a Casa near you. It’s also an ideal place to treat one’s colleagues and friends.
