Matter of pride!
Being called a ‘Springdalian’ is a matter of pride for the students-past and present!
The Spring Dales School at Benito Juarez Marg at Dhaula Kuan is well known even though it is not the main branch. Spring Dales School was initially started by Mrs. Rajni Kumar in East Patel Nagar and now it has a branch in Kirti Nagar and Pusa Road.
Spring Dales Public school is situated on the Pusa Road also. The Pusa Road and the Dhaula Kuan branches have the same ideology and the basic principles but the Dhaula Kuan branch is more uppity and has more snobbish value. There is no logical explanation for this as both are elite school run by the same management.
'Mrs. Rajni Kumar, the founder, with her dynamic persona and her increasing involvement in social issues especially ‘promoting Literacy’ has made a mark in the educational circles. With her at the helm, since its inception in 1955 there has been no looking back.
It is rightly said that it is not the building which matters but the builders. The auditorium is small but the dramatics is good. The school is Indian but has its connections abroad. The various languages taught here and the student exchange program helps to widen horizons. The Springdalian is confident and smart and the proverbial ‘man about town’.
If the name and place matters to you then Springdales Dhaula Kuan is the place for you. The crowd is elite, cocurriculars are important and the crowd is up market! Sometimes academics take a backseat but the board results are invariably good.
